The most important achievements within this goal are the adoption of programs in:

Upgrading the Iraqi individual’s share of energy.

Improving the efficiency of the electrical system performance and stopping its deterioration.

Improving the environmental performance of the electricity activity.

The government seeks, within its plans and programs, to expand in reducing food waste for the individual at the level of producer and consumer.

Programs and projects to expand waste collection and recycling services to deliver it to all regions, as the percentage of the population served by waste collection services, according to the results of the environmental survey in Iraq for the year 2016 was (67.0%) for the year 2015 at the level of Iraq, 88.4% for urban and 12% for rural.
