“Let’s make it green.” In the presence of the Minister of Agriculture and a number of deputies, members of the Agriculture Committee in Parliament, the Governor of Babylon, and a number of department directors and deans of faculties, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, Dean of the Future College. “An initiative to build a greener future in Babylon” was launched within the Future University College. Eng. Khaled Kazem Al-Salihi, Director of Planning of Babil Governorate, participated in a working paper on “The Role of Regional Planning in Achieving Sustainable Rural Development”, in which he referred to the rural reality in Babil Governorate and suggested development strategies to face challenges and invest in the spatial advantage that the governorate enjoys in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
